“In my experience as a massage therapist, the benefits of massage have become apparent to me. I have found great personal reward in helping people with many forms of pain, reduced mobility, and stress. My personal interest in exercise and fitness has become a significant part of my work in massage therapy. Thus, stretching and conditioning exercises may be demonstrated and included when appropriate.” Megan Roderick, LMT
At the clinic we often employ massage therapy in the care plans of accident-related injuries, chronic pain, joint stiffness and discomfort, as well as many types of spinal conditions, including conditions affecting the extremities.
Often, people new to massage ask if they must remove their clothes. The client can freely choose how they would like to receive massage therapy. Some remove all of their clothes, and some leave on their undergarments, while others remain fully clothed. All clients are covered with a sheet and the therapist respectfully undrapes only the body part under therapy at the time. Patient comfort is one of our greatest concerns.
Megan is a valued staff member, and seeks therapeutic direction from Dr. LaLonde regarding specific patient needs when appropriate. To schedule an appointment with Megan call the office at (781) 934-0943.
